About the Role

Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assisting with daily hygiene routines; washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Support: Helping clients take prescribed medications through reminders, prompts, or direct administration if specifically trained.
- Meal Preparation: Planning and cooking nutritious meals, ensuring dietary needs are met, and assisting with feeding if required.
- Domestic Help: Carrying out light household tasks like cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and sometimes light gardening.
- Mobility Assistance: Supporting clients to move safely around their home, including getting in and out of bed or using mobility aids like hoists.
- Companionship & Emotional Support: Reducing isolation through conversation, joint activities, and providing a reliable, friendly presence.
- Community Access: Accompanying clients to medical appointments, social events, or the shops.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Keeping accurate records of daily visits and promptly notifying managers of any changes in a client’s health or well-being.
